PSD Inc. comprises two divisions. The first, Public Sector Digest, is a research publication that publishes content pertinent to senior government decision-makers. CityWide Software Solutions, the second division, offers a sophisticated suite of software applications designed for asset management, financial planning, and performance measurement primarily for public sector organizations.

Agile Development

Client feedback is foundational to our research and development. We subscribe to the "Agile Development" methodology of software design. There is continuous collaboration between users and developers that produces critical refinements and features in all CityWide applications. Additionally, a rolling release cycle enables these changes to be pushed out to clients in a timely fashion. Clients are not forced to wait on customizations necessary for their internal procedures and practices.

Hosted Applications

From our state-of-the-art data center, we host client software and data instances over the web, accessible via browser. This means no additional hardware is needed at the client side. As a result, the majority of the implementation process is handled by CityWide experts, reducing the strain on the client. Additionally, patches and updates are rolled out seamlessly by CityWide staff to eliminate the lengthy collaborations of version migration. This methodology enables a consistent user experience for all our clients, regardless of internal IT environments.

Implementation

Organizations use various software systems and data sources to meet their technological needs. Through continual client interaction, the CityWide team has become well practiced in importing information, data transposition, and integration. As part of the implementation process, CityWide works closely with each client to ensure the integrity of the data being used in our applications.
